Question structure
The quiz uses 28 short statements answered on a five-point scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Half of the questions contribute to attachment anxiety and half contribute to attachment avoidance.
Reverse-scored items
Some statements describe security, comfort with support, or trust in repair. These items are reverse-scored so that higher dimension scores consistently represent more activation around anxiety or avoidance.
Result map
Lower anxiety and lower avoidance point toward secure attachment. Higher anxiety with lower avoidance points toward anxious attachment. Higher avoidance with lower anxiety points toward avoidant attachment. Higher scores on both dimensions point toward disorganized or fearful avoidant attachment.
